Which Bluetooth brew scales connect — Bookoo Themis and Felicita Arc — plus where Acaia support stands, before you buy rather than after.
The things people ask before they download a coffee brewing app.
Yes. Label reading, recipe matching and the Brew Expert all run on your phone. The only step that needs a connection is the one-off download of the AI model when you first set the app up. After that you can scan, match and brew with no signal at all.
€4.29 as a one-time purchase on Google Play. There is no subscription and no in-app purchases.
Any bag with a printed label. Photograph the front and back and the app reads origin, region, process, elevation, varietal, roast level, tasting notes and roast date into a structured profile. Anything it misreads can be corrected by tapping the field.
With the Bookoo Themis and Felicita Arc, yes — live weight and flow against each pour target as you brew. Acaia support is pending an official protocol licence, so it is not in the current version. Everything else in the app works without any connected hardware. Full list of supported scales.
Not yet. Coffee Aeye is Android only at the moment. An iOS version is planned.
No. Coffee Aeye is a local-only app. Your bags, photos, brews and ratings stay in a database on your device. The app has no accounts, no analytics SDK and no tracking, and nothing is transmitted, shared or sold. This website is separate: it counts page visits with cookieless analytics that identify nobody and set no cookie. Read the privacy policy.
