Does Coffee Aeye work offline?
Yes. Label reading, recipe matching and the Brew Expert all run on your phone. The only step that needs a connection is the one-off download of the AI model when you first set the app up. After that you can scan, match and brew with no signal at all.
What does Coffee Aeye cost?
€4.29 as a one-time purchase on Google Play. There is no subscription and no in-app purchases.
Which coffee bags can it scan?
Any bag with a printed label. Photograph the front and back and the app reads origin, region, process, elevation, varietal, roast level, tasting notes and roast date into a structured profile. Anything it misreads can be corrected by tapping the field.
Does Coffee Aeye work with Bluetooth coffee scales?
Yes. Connect a Bluetooth brew scale and the brew-along timer shows live weight and flow rate against each pour target as you brew.
Is there an iPhone version of Coffee Aeye?
Not yet. Coffee Aeye is Android only at the moment. An iOS version is planned.
Does Coffee Aeye collect or upload my data?
No. Coffee Aeye is a local-only app. Your bags, photos, brews and ratings stay in a database on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking, and nothing is transmitted, shared or sold. Read the privacy policy.
